Does it really work?

You will feel your muscles contracting and exercising during the session, as well as seeing more sweat from the Infra-red therapy blanket than most have normally ever seen from past workouts.

How much will I lose?

While this varies by client and area treated, when combined with consistent diet and supplementary exercise, losses can typically range from a half inch, to 4” or more. The more you work with the treatment, the better the results, so the sky is the limit with how much you can achieve.

What does it feel like?

As all of our technicians have personally experienced this treatment, we can tell you from experience that at no time will you or should you feel pain. This non-invasive treatment will feel like a tingling/buzzing sensation at first as your brain and body adjusts to the confusion of laying down in a relaxing position while also working out.

 

Once it has accepted this and has adjusted in the same way it accepts a typical work out, you will let us know when you are ready to increase the intensity. The more intense you can accept, the better the work out and ultimately the results, so we encourage you to push as far as you can, but you decide the intensity you can handle.

How many areas can I target in a single session?

Our machine has 12 sets of pads available, so depending if you are looking to focus on the front of body, or back, all 12 can be used if possible.

 

This means you could treat your arm, chest, abdomen/love handles and front thighs at once, OR arms, shoulders/back, love handles, buttocks, and back of thighs, just depending on your desired areas of focus

How often should I come in for a treatment?

If you are supplementing with additional exercise through the week, two sessions weekly of EMS Sculpting.

Typically, two sessions a week for five weeks (10 sessions) is advised when also supplementing with additional exercise through the week.

 

If you are not completing additional workouts outside of EMS Sculpting sessions, we do recommend 3 treatments a week, which may require an additional package past the 10 sessions depending on desired results. How long do the effects last?

Normal exercise generally activates only 50-60% of muscle fibers unless you are a trained athlete, however with EMS Sculpting, 100% of targeted muscle fibers are activated, so the effects should typically lost you considerably longer than active exercise.

 

If your weight remains consistent, the results will last 6-8 months. If you also integrate regular exercise and healthy diet into your routine, the results can last indefinitely.

Is the EMS Sculpting treatment safe?

Yes. There are no negative side effects to this treatment.

Will my muscles ache after the treatment as they do after a strenuous gym workout?

The EMS Sculpting treatment does not require glucose which is normally utilized during exercise. This is an important benefit because the body burns surrounding fat cells without decreasing glucose levels. This prevents the build-up of lactic acid which normally causes the pain right after an intense workout.

 

There may be muscle soreness in the days after treatment, however this also depends on how much the treated muscle is already developed (more muscle = more electro stimulation that can run through it), and how hard the client pushed the intensity during treatment. The more intense they push for (without causing themselves pain), the better the workout and overall results will be.

Should I do anything before/after a treatment session?

Yes, clients are encouraged to drink water before treatment to enhance lymphatic drainage, as well as during the treatment if possible, and should also drink several glasses of water after each session to assist with flushing the fat/fluids/toxins from the body, as well as rehydrating from the copious sweat loss of each treatment.

I just had a baby, can EMS Sculpting get my stomach back into shape?

There is hardly a faster or easier method of correcting the stretched tummy muscles after childbirth. You can start treatments six weeks after childbirth or six months after a caesarean section. For excessive skin/stretch marks, results may vary, however great improvement can be seen through time and dedication.

As a man, can EMS Sculpting help me get into shape?

Why not? Men like to keep in shape just as much as women. EMS Sculpting is often used by men to pull in their stomachs and dramatically improve their physiques. Adding muscle growth and tone to the traps, shoulders, arms, back, stomach and handles area are main focus points for most male clients, while some also enjoy the benefits of toning their buttocks and thighs. Who doesn’t love a great butt.

Can EMS Sculpting help me lose weight

Absolutely! It is well known muscle consumes far more calories per day than fat. If you build more muscle, then your calorie consumption goes up, so providing your eating habits stay the same, you will obtain a proportionate weight loss. If you add a healthy diet to your current routine, your weight loss will be even more significant. If you also add in regular exercise, the results can be phenomenal.

I am over 50 and have very poor muscle tone. Can EMS Sculpting help?

Yes! Age is no barrier and where there is more room for improvement the results seem even more dramatic. When complimented by a sensible diet and regular exercise, you will see toning and visibly quick inch loss. We have had clients over the age of 70 experience the tone and loss benefits of EMS Sculpting treatments.

If I get EMS Sculpting treatments, can I avoid the gym all together?

We highly encourage supplemental exercise, as cardio is very important for overall health as well as the muscle growth and tone added by EMS Sculpting treatments. Most clients find the results they see from treatments adds a boost to their confidence, and encourages them to keep regular with their exercise, as the added results from this make a world of difference in achieving their overall goals
